The Manager, People Systems is accountable for the prioritization, enablement and ongoing support for key People & Culture (P&C) systems, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, well governed, and aligned to P&C priorities.

Who you'll work with

You will partner closely across P&C and the Technology Division to ensure we have the systems in place to deliver on the People & Culture mandate.

What you'll do
  • Own and continuously improve assigned P&C business processes end-to-end (intake through resolution), including clear decision rights, standard work, controls, and documentation; ensure processes are scalable, auditable, and employee/leader centric.

  • Partner with the P&C Operations team to support their transformation roadmap by participating in process reviews, identifying opportunities to simplify/standardize, and translating process changes into actionable technology and enablement requirements.

  • Elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements (including acceptance criteria) for P&C technology enhancements; translate P&C business needs into technical requirements and work with Technology partners (e.g., BA/engineering) to confirm feasibility, sequencing, and delivery approach.

  • Perform minor configuration and administration within P&C technology (e.g., workflow updates, business process configuration, security role updates where appropriate, notifications) following established controls and change practices.

  • Lead end-to-end testing activities for changes impacting P&C processes and systems, including test strategy, test cases, execution, defect triage, and coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders; confirm readiness for release and support post-release stabilization.

  • Support a strong P&C data governance approach by ensuring people data is handled securely and consistently (definitions, access, quality checks, retention and auditability), and by partnering with enterprise data/privacy stakeholders to align with policy and control expectations.

  • Manage and maintain a transparent intake and prioritization view of enhancements/defects for assigned processes and technology areas; provide regular status, risks, and decision points to P&C stakeholders and Technology partners.

  • Builds effective partnerships across P&C (CoEs, Business Partners, Operations) and across Technology to ensure solutions are integrated, well communicated, and adopted; support change management and enablement (training, communications, job aids) for process and system changes.

  • Knowledge of HR technology platforms and concepts (e.g., Workday business process configuration, security concepts, reporting, integrations at a high level).

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; comfort partnering with Technology teams to deliver solutions.

  • Working knowledge of testing practices including UAT planning/execution, defect management, and release readiness.

  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and control considerations when handling people data (access, retention, auditability, and quality).

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to align diverse groups and drive decisions.

  • Experience owning and improving business processes, including process mapping, control design, documentation, and measurable continuous improvement.

  • Experience supporting HR technology delivery or operations (e.g., Workday or similar platforms), including requirements gathering, minor configuration, and release/change coordination.

  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing UAT and coordinating business stakeholders through testing, defect triage, and deployment readiness.
