JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Senior US Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Analyst with 10+ years of experience in the US insurance industry to support a major business transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the US Admitted P&C Insurance market, with particular emphasis on Property Insurance, insurance products, underwriting processes, actuarial concepts, and insurance data. This role will work closely with business, actuarial, data, underwriting, and transformation teams to help translate complex insurance business requirements and data needs into actionable business solutions. This is a business and domain-focused role, not a software development position. The successful candidate will bring deep insurance expertise and the ability to understand, analyze, and communicate business and data requirements within the US P&C insurance ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for US Admitted P&C Insurance, with a strong focus on Property Insurance. Provide business and domain expertise to support ongoing insurance transformation initiatives. Analyze and document insurance business processes, data requirements, workflows, and business rules. Work with business stakeholders, actuaries, underwriting teams, data teams, and other subject matter experts to understand business needs. Translate complex insurance concepts and business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for data and transformation teams. Analyze insurance data and identify data quality issues, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. Support the definition and documentation of insurance data elements, business definitions, data attributes, and business rules. Provide expertise related to Property Insurance products, underwriting, policy lifecycle, risk, exposure, and insurance data. Collaborate with actuarial and business teams to understand data requirements related to pricing, reserving, underwriting, portfolio analysis, and other insurance processes, as applicable. Support data mapping, data analysis, data lineage, and data quality initiatives from a business/domain perspective. Participate in workshops and working sessions with business and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve business/data issues. Help identify opportunities to improve business processes, data management, and operational efficiency as part of the transformation. Review and validate business and data requirements to ensure they accurately reflect insurance business needs. Act as a bridge between insurance business stakeholders and data/technology teams. Required Qualifications Over all 10+ years of experience. 8+ years of experience in the US Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. Strong experience with US Admitted Insurance business. Strong understanding of US Property Insurance, including property products, underwriting, risk, exposure, and policy-related processes. Experience working with insurance business data and data-driven transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of P&C insurance business processes and terminology. Experience working with actuarial, underwriting, insurance operations, or data teams. Ability to analyze complex business and data requirements and translate them into clear business documentation. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working in large-scale business transformation or data transformation programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Actuarial background or experience working closely with P&C actuaries. Experience with Property and Casualty actuarial concepts. Experience with insurance data management, data governance, data quality, or data modeling from a business perspective. Knowledge of admitted vs. non-admitted insurance. Experience with Property Insurance is highly preferred; Casualty experience is a plus. Experience with underwriting, policy administration, claims, pricing, or portfolio data. Professional actuarial credentials such as ACAS, FCAS, or actuarial exam progress would be a plus but are not necessarily required. Experience supporting insurance modernization or transformation programs. Education: Masters Degree Certification: ServiceNow Administration
