Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. (Wilco) is one of four individually owned and operated companies which comprise the Whimase Group of Companies established over the last four decades.

From earth moving to shrub planting Wilco does everything in between and with decades of experience we confidently offer services including park construction, sport facilities as well as environmental, landscape and civil earthworks. Wilco is a leader in delivering complex projects to its clients.

Wilco is currently seeking multiple Skid Steer and Excavator Operators (multi-equipment) to join our diverse and dynamic team Located In Edmonton and Area. Most equipment is CAT. Operators are required for the following:

  • Excavator
  • Skid-Steer
  • Loader (Asset)
  • Grader (Asset)
  • Dozer (Asset)

The Heavy Equipment Operator will perform some or all the following:

  • Able to complete walk around and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and take direction.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Physically able to perform all physical actions pertinent to the job, and equipment operation.

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years equipment experience.
  • Ability to run other pieces of equipment considered an asset.
  • Must be capable of finish grading topsoil.
  • Must be able to interpret survey stakes.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
  • Capable of operating under numerous and varied job site situations.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must have reliable Vehicle.
