Job description

Overview

Free 14-Day Dispatch- Veteran Specials Available!!!

RDL is a veteran owned company looking to support experienced owner-operators and independent carriers who want a dedicated dispatcher focused on finding quality loads, negotiating rates, and keeping their trucks moving.

You drive. We handle the load search, broker communication, rate negotiation, and booking.

This is an independent contractor/business-to-business relationship. We are not hiring drivers to operate company trucks. We are looking to support owner-operators and carriers who need professional dispatch help for their existing trucking operation.

What We Do

Our dispatch service is designed to help owner-operators spend less time searching load boards and negotiating with brokers and more time focused on running their trucks.

We can assist with:

  • Finding available freight
  • Searching for loads based on your equipment and preferred lanes
  • Rate negotiation
  • Broker communication
  • Booking loads
  • Rate confirmation coordination
  • Reload and backhaul planning
  • Reducing empty miles where possible
  • Keeping you informed about available freight
  • Ongoing dispatch support
  • Compliance

What We're Looking For

We're looking to support owner-operators and carriers who:

  • Have their own truck and equipment
  • Have active operating authority or operate under an established carrier
  • Have the required commercial insurance
  • Have a valid MC/DOT authority when applicable
  • Are reliable and professional
  • Communicate consistently with their dispatcher
  • Want to build a long-term working relationship
  • Are interested in having someone dedicated to finding and negotiating freight

Equipment

We are interested in working with carriers operating:

  • Dry Van
  • Box Truck
  • Hot Shot

How the Relationship Works

You remain the owner of your trucking business, equipment, operating authority, and revenue.

Red Dirt Logistics LLC. works on your behalf to locate and negotiate freight that fits your operation.

You maintain the final decision on which loads you accept.

Where applicable, carriers may provide authorized access to load-board services so that our dispatch operation can search for available freight on their behalf.

Compensation

Free 14-Day Dispatch- Veteran Specials Available!!!

Our dispatch service is commission-based, meaning our compensation is tied to the loads we help secure for your truck.

There are no guarantees of a specific weekly revenue amount. Freight rates and available loads vary based on equipment, location, lanes, seasonality, and market conditions.

Why Work With Us?

We believe a good dispatch relationship should be more than simply sending you load options.

Our goal is to understand your:

  • Preferred lanes
  • Equipment
  • Schedule
  • Revenue goals
  • Home-time requirements
  • Freight preferences

Then focus on finding opportunities that fit your business.
