The Raytheon Industry 4.0 team is seeking an experienced Product Manager. The candidate is responsible for leading and developing a team of Product Owners to deliver exceptional products that align with the company's strategic goals. The Product Manager is expected to drive definition and execution of overall product strategy and product innovation ensuring effective collaboration across departments and our customers. This role will be a critical strategic liaison between the 3 manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various sites.
What You Will Do
  • Responsible for the department's digital Product strategies and roadmaps driving common automated solutions, aligned to the CORE process matrix, maximizing affordability and speed to market across sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Define and implement Product management processes and methodologies.
  • Liaison between stakeholders, customers and product owners.
  • Establishes measurable goals for the product, tracks progress against these goals using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and makes data-informed adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Expect Domestic Travel 25% of the time.

What You Will Learn
  • Implementing strategies for common solutions across a business
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams.
  • How to leverage product data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Skill in negotiating trade-offs and priorities between competing demands.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Minimum of 4+ years in product management or product ownership, with direct experience successfully delivering complex products end-to-end within a manufacturing factory environment.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Product management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with transition to production of software products, automation systems or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and/or strengthening customer relationships
  • Continuous improvement/growth, quality and analytical mindset
  • Professional experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for Aerospace and Defense factories with automation systems.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
