Transportation Driver (Use Your Own Vehicle)

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Friday

Job Summary

On Time Solution is seeking responsible, dependable, and safety-focused individuals to transport students using their own vehicles. As a School Transportation Driver, you will safely transport students to and from school and other approved locations while following assigned routes, schedules, company safety standards, and applicable state regulations.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in rideshare, delivery, shuttle, or passenger transportation who are looking for consistent weekday work with predictable routes.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students to and from school and approved locations.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining on-time performance.
  • Ensure students are safely seated and secured during transportation.
  • Assist students when entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle.
  • Follow all company policies, school district requirements, and state transportation regulations.
  • Use a smartphone app to manage routes, trip updates, and communication.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and parents regarding schedules, delays, or route changes.
  • Provide courteous, dependable, and professional customer service every day.
