Rudolph Libbe Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to make deliveries of equipment and materials to job sites in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Make necessary deliveries to job sites as directed by Yard Manager and Assistant Yard Manager.
-Load and secure loads on trucks as well as unloading trucks.
-Load and unload large, operated equipment including oversize/overweight permitted loads.
-Required to maintain status of deliveries on Verizon scheduling app
-Operate a forklift and Gradall.
-Must be able to handle and lift 75 to 100 lbs.
-Complete all necessary paperwork required by Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company.
-Keep vehicles and trailers cleaned and well maintained.
-Assist associates with yard duties as directed by Yard Manager.
-Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
- Overtime as required.
SKILLS
-Required to maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and outside personnel.
-Must be a self-motivated individual with conscientious work habits and a focus on safety.
-Must be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
-Basic construction knowledge (home, commercial or industrial) would be beneficial.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma is required. Education through a trade school would be beneficial.
-Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and 5 years CDL experience hauling equipment and materials.
-Must pass all DOT requirements which include supplying 5 years of employment history.
-Forklift experience a must.
-Mechanical experience is desired.
