Job description

JNI Hauling LLC is the parent company of A2B Towing, Bolin Towing, A&A Towing Services, Cardinal & Hoods.

We are seeking both entry level and experienced Tow Truck Operators eager to join a fast paced and growing team!

Hauling Responsibilities:

Perform inspections of vehicles, equipment, and accessories such as tire, lights, turn signals and brakes.

Experience with loading equipment and ensuring it is properly loaded and secured according to safety requirements.

Communicate with others using communication devices such as two-way radio.

Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.

Report any problems to your manager as soon as possible.

Perform daily pre & post-trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.

Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.

Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment, refer major problems to the supervisor.

Must keep truck in a clean and orderly condition.


Hauling Requirements:

Must have a valid CDL driver license.

Proven work experience as a truck driver.

Good driving record.

Must have oversize load (width, length, and height) hauling experience.

Detach Trailer Experience highly preferred

Must be able to travel overnight occasionally. Most trips will be day trips.

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, conditions, etc.)

Knowledge of applicable trucking driving rules and regulations.

Ensure safe transportation and delivery of freight to designated locations.

Inspect assigned vehicle regularly to identify and report any repairs or maintenance needed. Ensure the vehicle is neat and tidy.

Report any accidents or damage incurred during transport to supervisor.

Demonstrates positive customer service attitude - both to coworkers and customers.

Possess good English verbal communication, legible handwriting, and basic math.

Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:

Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in tight spaces

Ability to work in extreme weather

Ability to walk considerable distances in the facility during the day

Sits behind driving wheel for extended periods of time

Successfully pass drug & background tests in compliance with company policy and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
