Korean Bilingual Purchasing Specialist

Location : Cusseta, AL (100% Onsite)

This client is a primary parts supplier to Hyundai and Kia Motors. The company produces a variety of products, from automotive body parts to intelligent automotive electronics, and focuses on securing technological competitiveness. In addition, it is developing advanced technologies and establishing a global management system through the localization of overseas affiliates.

[Job Description]

MAJOR FUNCTION:

1. Manage LP Team leader and LP team members

2. Check and update inventory periodically to maximize assembly line productivity

3. Prepare and send POs on time to maintain production flow.

4. Monitor LP delivery, communicate with transporter about ETA for inventory management

5. Prepare 5-star inspection conducted by 3rd party

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Project LP part usages and Prepare/Send POs

2. Check the inventory daily, weekly.

3. Contact vendors weekly for material flow

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor E/O changes and update LP inventory

2. Manage delivered items from vendors to fulfill each department’s needs.

3. Manage essential materials (Industrial CO2, Argon gas) to keep the assembly line running

4. Manage supply center, Stock management, re-order point calculation, and distribution process establishment

5. Manage each department’s forklifts maintenance for full utilization.

Requirements

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1. Microsoft Office Skills

Personal Characteristics:

1. Leadership to team members

Organizational Relationships:

1. Close relationship with Development, Production, QC, and Sales Dept.

2. Maintain good relationship with vendors.

Korean/English Bilingual is mandatory
