Job Summary
The Overnight Operations Manager with the Restaurant Store is responsible for managing the physical merchandising of all items for a retail branch location. Under direction of the Branch Manager, the Overnight Operations Manager is responsible for accomplishing a variety of operational goals through effective time management strategies that align with the goals of our sales, order fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize sales based on effective product replenishment throughout the branch location
  • Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing inventory replenishment tasks
  • Maintain promotional displays throughout store that highlight promotional items in an effective manner
  • Support order fulfillment methods of location by managing order pulling as needed throughout shift
  • Communicate effectively with other department managers to ensure needs of customers are met in a timely and ongoing basis
  • Communicate with Branch / Assistant Branch Manager to support the safety and maintenance of the building and equipment
  • Manage employee relation issues as needed
  • Support the development and training needs of the overnight team related to operational goals and position requirements
  • Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
  • Manage building safety by holding keys to the building and using alarm codes as outlined in company policy
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management with a specific focus on merchandising management
  • Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
