Job description

Description:

About Us

  • ArcherGrey is a digital transformation firm specializing in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Since 2002, we’ve built a strong reputation for delivering successful PLM implementations through strategic consulting and technology services. With a customer-first mindset, we optimize both the people and process sides of PLM adoption to help organizations maximize the value of their technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, align, and document client PLM roadmaps focused on PTC Windchill solutions across engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise contexts.
  • Support new business opportunities and project growth within existing ArcherGrey engagements by identifying incremental value, expanding scope, and defining the next phases of client Windchill roadmaps.
  • Lead the consulting team in the planning, analysis, configuration, development, and testing of PTC Windchill solutions to ensure they meet client business and technical expectations.
  • Assess current engineering, product development, and manufacturing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, redundancies, and non-value-added steps that can be improved through Windchill capabilities.
  • Lead the analysis and documentation of customer functional and technical requirements and contribute to the design and delivery of Windchill-based solutions.
  • Support and author written specifications (e.g., Functional Design Documents, System Architecture Documents, Integration Specifications, and Use Case Documents) to capture business and system requirements for PTC Windchill solutions.
  • Map customer engineering and product lifecycle processes to Windchill functionality through a strong understanding of Windchill modules (e.g., PDMLink, MPMLink, Change Management, Configuration Management) and best-practice usage.
  • Provide ongoing project status, risk management, and issue resolution updates to internal ArcherGrey leadership and client cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • U.S. Citizen (required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience guiding clients in the design, architecture, and implementation of PTC Windchill or comparable enterprise PLM platforms.
  • Proven consulting experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or high-tech environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), product development, change management, configuration management, and digital thread methodologies.
  • Experience leading client-facing teams and complex PLM programs with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Availability for a consistently high level of overnight travel (approximately 50%).
