We are currently seeking a Full-time Night Shift Nurse Supervisor RN to join our Skilled Nursing team and make a meaningful difference in residentsโ€™ daily lives.

** Full-timeย  ย ** Monday - Friday ** 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMย  ย  ** $43 - $53/hr. (DOE)

Reporting to the Director of Nursing (DON), the Nurse Supervisor RN is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our โ€œPhilosophy for Person-Directed Care.โ€ S/he ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the residentโ€™s daily life rhythm; supervises and coordinates nursing services; trains and supervises RN, LVN, and CNA team members that are accountable for resident care and satisfaction.

Key duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:ย 

  • Assesses residentโ€™s needs at the time of admission and continually evaluates residentsโ€™ condition during the duration of their stay and promotes the highest functional level of independence possible (keeping in compliance with state and federal regulations, and the communityโ€™s safety procedures);
  • Supervises and directs care partners by providing support, encouragement, and direction as appropriate;
  • Accurately and completely performs direct nursing services, such as, medication administration, treatments, personal care and other nursing procedures.
  • Actively engages and participates in the communityโ€™s QAPI program
  • Coordinates the residentsโ€™ plan of care with the interdisciplinary team (IDT), physicians, medical personnel, and residentโ€™s family/responsible party
  • Updates the Director of Nursing on any administrative concerns, i.e. family issues.
  • Handles all admission inquiries when either the Admissions Coordinator or Director of Nursing is not available.
  • Ensures that the community Administrator of Health Services and Director of Nursing are notified of emergency situations that occur after hours or on weekends.
  • Performs other related essential duties as required.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • ย Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN)
  • Current RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • BS Degree, preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experienceย 
  • Minimum of 1-year professional managerial experience in related field
  • Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills
  • Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, commitment to quality of care and willing to help foster a positive working environment
