Current Clients Needing Additional Support

Client 1 (Salem): 

  • Male | 45 yrs | 97304
  • Schedule: Looking for coverage for overnight care but flexible with hours and open to any coverage available.
  • Likes: Going on outings, going for drives, going out to eat (Pizza), movies, price is right, sports,and doing things his way.
  • Needs: He communicates through gestures, facial expressions, vocalizations, and modified signs, and he requires simple, direct phrases as he often needs cues to understand verbal content. He has significant support needs, requiring 24-hour care and 2:1 staffing for most activities, including mobility, transfers, and hygiene, due to his size and behavioral health challenges. He prefers a consistent routine with minimal transitions and is most comfortable with familiar male support staff although the family is open to any gender worker.

Client 2 (Salem): 

  • Male | 46 yrs | 97304
  • Schedule: Looking for coverage for overnight care but flexible with hours and open to any coverage available.
  • Likes: Mom and brothers, trusted staff, going on outings, going for drives, home cooked meals, music, movies, watching sports, going to the dog park, price is right, and watching airplanes, helicopters, semi trucks, motorcycles.
  • Needs: He requires 2:1 staffing support for mobility, transfers, and behavioral stabilization due to physical limitations and an unsteady gait. He values consistency, routine, and personal space; he prefers male support staff for ADL needs but is open to any gender and he requires substantial assistance with dressing, hygiene, and eating due to a swallowing disorder and a tendency to eat rapidly.

Requirements
  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Smartphone required
  • Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)
