About The Role & Team
The Overnight Risk & Trade Monitoring Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the risk associated with overnight trading activities on the Webull platform. This role involves monitoring market conditions, identifying potential risks, and taking proactive steps to mitigate them. Also, the Specialist may support adjacent business units such as technology or customer service during overnight trading hours. The role will specialize in the equities and commodities market support.
In This Role, You Will
  • Risk Monitoring:
    • Monitor real-time market data, news, and economic indicators to identify potential risks.
    • Assess the impact of overnight events on the trading environment.
    • Identify and evaluate potential risk factors, such as market volatility, liquidity, and credit risk.
    • Implement risk mitigation strategies, including position limits, margin requirements, and stop-loss orders.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of risk management controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Trade Surveillance:
    • Monitor trading activity for unusual patterns or anomalies.
  • Customer Support:
    • May need to Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to trading, account management, and platform functionality.
    • Escalate critical issues to appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Incident Management:
    • Develop and implement procedures for handling incidents and emergencies during overnight trading.
    • Coordinate with relevant teams to address and resolve incidents promptly.
    • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve response capabilities.

The Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Series 3, 7, and/or 57 Condition of Employment
  • Experience in risk management, trade surveillance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
  • Proficiency in using trading platforms and risk management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self Starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to overnight trading.

At Webull, we're committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is $90,000 - $115,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus and full benefits.
