General Functions:

This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of financial equipment and related systems for banking and financial institution customers. This role combines field service, technical troubleshooting, equipment repair, rigging, and installation responsibilities. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and software support on ATMs, Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs), coin counters, currency counters and sorters, document scanners, and related financial equipment. In addition, this position is responsible for transporting, rigging, moving, and installing heavy banking equipment including ATMs, under-counter steel, pneumatic tube systems, safes, and related branch equipment. This position requires a mechanically inclined individual with experience in electronics, computer hardware, equipment repair, construction, or related technical trades.

The location of this position will be based out of the Mandan/Bismark North Dakota area. Travel will be required (ND/SD/MT/MN), with some (minimal) travel requiring overnight stays.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ATM, ITM, TCR, and other financial equipment.
2. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service visits.
3. Clear equipment jams, reset systems, and perform basic operational repairs.
4. Conduct advanced troubleshooting, including electrical, mechanical, and software diagnostics.
5. Replace defective parts and assemblies.
6. Install and configure software, firmware, and operating system updates.
7. Provide technical support to customers both onsite and remotely.
8. Stage, test, and prepare equipment for deployment.
9. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
10. Transport, rig, move, and install ATMs, ITMs, TCRs, safes, under-counter steel, pneumatic tube systems, and related banking equipment.
11. Safely operate moving equipment, hand tools, power tools, dollies, pallet jacks, and rigging equipment.
12. Conduct site surveys and prepare installation locations.
13. Interpret installation plans, equipment specifications, and project requirements.
14. Complete equipment removals, relocations, and branch remodel support.
15. Adhere to all company safety policies and industry standards during lifting and moving operations.
16. Represent the company professionally at customer locations.
17. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues, repair recommendations, and installation requirements.
18. Assist with customer training on equipment operation when required.
19. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
20. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Must be able to drive a vehicle, day and night, and pass an annual driving test.
2. Able to pass a non-DOT drug screening test.
3. Must be able to lift 50-200 pounds on a regular basis.
4. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, squat and twist in various positions while servicing equipment.
5. Must be able to read and understand written product manuals and apply that knowledge in servicing related equipment within guidelines.
6. Must have and maintain a clean driving record and be insurable.
7. Must be able to demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment, displaying a strong work ethic and integrity.
8. Technical school, vocational training, military technical training, or equivalent work experience preferred.
9. Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, electronics repair, ATM service, computer repair, electromechanical equipment repair, or related technical field preferred.
10. Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, networking, software, or electronic systems preferred.
11. Experience with ATM, ITM, TCR, cash handling equipment, coin processing equipment, or related banking technology is highly desirable.
12. Construction, rigging, moving, installation, or equipment relocation experience preferred.
13. Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
14. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
15. Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements.

Language:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to outside contact, customers and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
