Position Summary

As avalet staffmember of the rentaldepartment,youwillbe responsibleforproviding exceptional guest serviceand following the complete organizationof our valet/overnight storage systemfor guests.You will need to manage lines, ensure the correct gear is being handed out, andenjoy creating an awesome experience forbothvaletguestsand rental guests.Duringdowntime, you may be asked toassistin rentals with boot fitting as needed.Starting late morningevery day, you will need to ensure all guests arebeing assistedwith proper storageof their equipment.Ifa valet guest gets a tune ora wax, you will need to help ensure this gear gets put back in the correct valet slots.Accurate, speedy,and friendlyservice isa mustfor the entirety of your shift each day.This isan insideand outsidejob,and you may be asked toassistwith shoveling on occasion,assistwith moving ski racks outside,and stand for up to 8 hoursper shift.

Essential Duties & Major Responsibilities

• Have competent product knowledgeof valet services, overnight storage services, and rental products.

• Understand all procedures forthe point-of-salesystem.

• Practice safe operating procedures while using all equipment,tools,and machines.

• Help guests accurately andin a timelymanner withevery guest-facing transaction.

• Properly check gear back in correctly and hand guests any claim tickets necessary.

• Assistwithrental boot fitting as needed.

• Mustobtain excellent knowledge of themountain,including but not limitedto:lodges, lifts,terrain,and operating schedules.

• Keepworkarea clean and organized.

• Must be able to self-manage and support co-workers with teamworkondaily projects.

• This is an indoor/outdoor job that requireslong periodsof exposure to the elements as well as prolonged periods ofstanding,reaching, and bending.

• Other tasks as assigned.

Job Scope

Mt.BachelorRental Shopis the largest inCentralOregon.The team works together in a veryfast-pacedatmosphere.Our staffis required tobe knowledgeable and professional. Our staff must be passionate aboutthe sportand willing to use their knowledge toassistour guestsin selecting the products(rentals, lessons, lift tickets) that best fit their needs.

Secondary Function

Assistother stations in the rentalshopsuch as boot fitting and DIN set-up.Assistin snow removal(shoveling) of Rental shop's designated areas.Assistinday/overnight storage of ski equipment/ and or weekend and holiday outside ski check attending.Assistin moving ski racks onto the snow in the morning and replacing them at the end of the day.Assistin housekeeping of work areas - clean and vacuum as needed.Assistwith other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Skills

• License/Certification: Must pass certification test with binding manufacturers.

• Technical: Some mechanicalproblem-solvingskills.

• Physical Capabilities: The ability to push 50 lbs of force at a height of 42", willing to stand outside in all weather conditions while running Corral.

Education/Related Experience

• Minimum Education: High School or Equivalent Required.

• Minimum time in related position: 1 year in customer service, retail,hospitality,or related customer service experience.
