Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!Responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers and performing warehouse activities including parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks.

Essential Job Duties

  • Receives labels from thesupervisor for parts to be pulled for theassigned route.
  • Pulls parts from the appropriate bins and delivers themto thestaging area for loading.
  • Operates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about thewarehouse.
  • Loads truck according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check-off of parts loaded.
  • Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
  • Respond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products and loading them into the customer vehicle.
  • Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.
  • Drives a company box truck to deliver parts to customer locations.
  • Physically loads truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made.
  • Drives to thedelivery destination and physically unloads truck and verifies parts unloaded. Picks up returned parts and collects customer payments as necessary.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Not responsible for supervising employees.

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 6+ months of related warehouse experience.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation ("DOT") and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration ("FMCSA") regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Forklift certification/experience and knowledge of RF scanners arehelpful.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
  • Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
  • Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Decisions generally affect one's own job or assigned functional area.
  • Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.
  • Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive a vehicle most of the time.
  • Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 12 hours at a time); use hands to operate machinery.
  • May need to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust. May occasionally wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • May need to work in cramped spaces that could require getting into awkward positions.
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels.
  • Daily travel will be required by drivers making deliveries and extensive overnight travel may be required.
