Job description

Pay Range: $15.75- $19.30

SUMMARY
Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for stocking grocery products, unloading trucks and ensuring that the aisles of the store are kept neat and clean. Responsible for meeting customer needs through providing well stocked and accurately priced merchandise to promote an optimal opportunity for sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times. Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request. Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times. Responsible for performing merchandising functions for the Grocery Department to include stocking product, pricing, signing, price changes and inventory checks.  Return excess merchandise to Back Room area per corporate guidelines. Responsible for unloading merchandise from trucks. Stock products throughout the retail unit according to company procedures. Must follow all company standards regarding sanitation (i.e.: floors, shelves, and back room area). May be required to process customer orders as business needs dictate. Retrieve shopping carts and return them to designated areas. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
