Job Specific Working Conditions:

This seasonal role is paid at the salary range of $2,650 - $2,750, offers the option of room & board at camp, and is more than just a job; it invites you into a close-knit, missional community. Our camp is located in Williams, Arizona, a small town situated at about 7,000 feet elevation, approximately three hours north of Phoenix and 35 minutes west of Flagstaff. Lost Canyon is a welcoming community, with most staff living off-camp in Williams. Northern Arizona is a spectacular place to live, with the Grand Canyon and Mt. Humphreys about an hour away, along with many other outdoor recreation areas within a few hours. This dynamic environment fosters collaboration, personal growth, and a deep sense of meaning through both your work and daily life.

Notes:

Young Life is a relational ministry. Staff must be able to convey a sense of Christ-like hospitality and concern for guests and staff. Responding to the unexpected needs of a guest in a prompt and professional manner is important. All staff members are expected to represent Young Life positively and professionally within the community and be able to work with and minister to the volunteer high school and college-age young people who attend our camp.
