Job description

Job Title

Quickly interviewing viable candidates: Phone call/text from a 405 area code

Local Radius rule: 50 miles, 10% reduction to bill rate

Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

NBO: 16 hrs

EMR: EPIC

OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier

Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

On Call: ***/hr

Charge/Precept: ***/hr

Billable OT:

  • 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
  • 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

UNIT Info

  • Scans/day: 65
  • Scrubs: any color tops & bottoms; solids
  • Will the tech be the sole Tech on night shift for both CT & Xray, or will there be additional staff/support overnight? The tech will be the only staff member in imaging on their shift. If they need help with lifting, ER staff can come over and help.
  • What PACS system is used? McKesson (old name)/Change Healthcare
  • Is the tech responsible for transport to and from imaging? Yes

  • 12 months minimum of Computed Tomography / CT Tech experience [required]
  • 12 months minimum of X-Ray experience [required]
  • First time travelers accepted -- MUST have somatom experience!
  • Equipment experience/knowledge: somatom xcite experience [required]
  • IA Radiology license [highly preferred] -- will consider licensing candidates (1-3 week turnaround to issuance)
  • EPIC emr experience [required]
  • shimadzu fixed room & portables experience [highly preferred]
  • IV start experience [highly preferred]
  • ARRT (CT) (R) [required]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work history/resume/employment history [required]
  • Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job [required]
  • Active ARRT at time of submission [required] [document]
  • Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
  • Driver's License [document] [required]
  • AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS - basic life support – [required]
