Position Summary
The Overnight Roving and Foot Patrol Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises through regular foot and roving patrols during overnight hours. This role involves vigilant observation, timely reporting of incidents, and a proactive approach to deter unauthorized activities.
Responsibilities
• Conduct continuous foot and roving patrols of the assigned property during overnight shifts to ensure a secure environment
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to control access and prevent unauthorized entry
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches promptly to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
• Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents requiring intervention
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing site security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as necessary
Qualifications
