Tombras, a 600+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Supervisor, Media Investment.
You'll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. The Supervisor of Media Investment is responsible for developing over-arching programmatic team members to properly build out programmatic strategy, plans, campaign implementation & effective optimization that deliver on client's goals. This position will also act as the programmatic expert in all major related client & inter-departmental meetings.
Where you'll be working: Knoxville, TN or Atlanta. Relocation assistance may be provided.
What you'll be doing:
  • Training, managing, supervising Media Investment planner/buyers
  • Develop and expand on departmental process and programmatic prowess
  • Communicate with clients on marketplace intelligence, and present media strategies, plans & recommendations
  • Provide guidance to Strategy, Analytics and Account Service to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPI's
  • Oversee team training and mentoring and lead the implementation and development of all new and existing processes
  • Act as programmatic departmental liaison with other departments concerning the allocation of planning and buying resources in programmatic
  • Work with the individual planners, ensure that all Media Investment plans are strategic, deliver on client objectives, and meet stated goals
  • Align with the Associate Director of Programmatic, be an agency representative in client presentations of programmatic strategy and plans
  • Provide regular oversight of campaign execution to maintain high-quality standards and ensure performance
  • Manage the programmatic team's workload and help prioritize with account service to meet deliverables
  • Provide senior-level guidance and review on campaign reports, research, POV's, and client presentations to ensure quality and client-readiness
  • Ensure that all buyers initiate the optimization process per the stated KPIs for each client/plan
  • Manage the delivery and development of campaign reports and provide senior-level insight and analysis
  • Align with the Associate Director of Programmatic, serve as a digital marketplace landscape expert internally and with clients

What you bring:
  • 5-6 years of experience in Media Investment buying and planning at a media agency or vendor
  • 1+ years experience mentoring and managing a team
  • Experience in planning and buying multi-million dollar programmatic campaigns
  • Proficient within digital media research and performance applications, including Comscore, Nielsen, Simmons, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, journalism or accounting or a related field
