Job description

Wallwork Truck Center is looking for a reliable full-time Route Driver to join our parts team! In this role, you’ll support our team by delivering parts across local routes. We offer competitive benefits, PTO, and employee discounts. Wallwork is excited to hear from you!

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. No weekends! Wage is $45,000/yr. + DOE.

QUALIFICATIONS 

 Education and/or years’ experience required:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

  • CDL is not required for our Fargo location
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one
  • Must maintain a professional personal appearance

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):

  • No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES

  • Deliver parts to assigned customers along designated routes while ensuring daily delivery requirements are completed.
  • Must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
  • Submit parts orders for all designated customers as needed.
  • Some overnight travel may be required as needed, depending on territory. Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.
  • Review and verify all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders.
  • Complete core returns, warranty, and new part returns per Company policies and procedures.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
  • Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
  • Exercise sound independent judgment and discretion to meet the needs of the company, employees, and/or customers.
  • Follow up with sales, coordinate returns, and overall customer service.
  • Service existing accounts.
  • Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
  • Maintains professional and establishing personal networks.    
  • Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
  • Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
  • Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
