Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Security Professional / Rover
    Security Patrol Officers will be responsible for monitoring Life Safety and Critical Infrastructure by
    performing tours throughout the Gallagher Campus. Additional duties include access control, escorting,
    response to alarms and events, and relieving fixed posts. All security activities shall be coordinated and
    communicated to the ROC via the intercom, radio or landline.

  2. Security Professionals identify and report Life Safety issues, tour the building to prevent and identify
    potential incidents and respond accordingly to an event. Monitor critical infrastructure; provide
    perimeter security, monitor control access points, i.e. turnstiles, dock, emergency exits. This post will
    require knowledge of the property in its entirety and the use of an access control card or post keys to
    enter required locations.

  3. Security Professionals must report anything out of the ordinary to the ROC Analyst. Security Professional
    will be required to fill out a Daily Activity Report (DAR) and have knowledge of emergency SOPs as well
    as general working knowledge of other posts as they will be reliving various posts.

Minimum Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality, or a customer service-focused
    environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using computers, standard security software, and Microsoft Office Suite
    for reporting and documentation.
  • Requires a high degree of professional maturity and sound judgment necessary to handle
    complex tenant interactions and sensitive security matters.
  • Previous security experience within a High-Rise Commercial Office Building environment is
    strongly preferred and will be considered a significant asset.
  • Clean Driving Record 

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

  • Bi-lingual considered a plus
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
