Duration: 12 Months Contract

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Interview: 1 virtual and 1 onsite | 30 minutes for each

This position is tailored for an adept Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, who is ready to take on a crucial role in our engineering team. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in RF circuit design along with a solid understanding of basic RF amplifier knowledge and communication theory, contributing to high-impact projects with precision and innovation.

Job Description:

As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be instrumental in advancing our RF technologies and sustaining product development. Your role will encompass hands-on circuit building, debugging, and conducting performance verification testing for MSI products under redesign. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance and ensure compliance with stringent industry standards.

Qualifications:

RF Circuit and Communication: Extensive background in RF circuit design and wireless communication theory essential for driving innovative solutions.

Design Expertise: Proficient in designing and understanding PLL, VCO, Receiver, and RF Power Amplifier systems.

Analytical Proficiency: Demonstrates sound analytical skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot and resolve circuit-related challenges efficiently.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with RF test equipment, including Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters, ensuring precise measurement and analysis.

Independent and Collaborative Work: Capable of working autonomously while effectively collaborating with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.

Project Management: Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple concurrent design undertakings, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Communication Excellence: Skillfully summarizes complex technical concepts and findings, with proficient writing and communication abilities.

Basic Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, laying the foundational knowledge necessary for advanced engineering practices.

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in RF development that showcases a commitment to quality and precision in engineering.

• Knowledge and proven previous use of RF test equipment for circuit-level testing in a work environment.

Main Responsibilities: Evaluation of RF kits/circuits. The assignment will also include performance verification testing of redesigned MSI sustaining products.

Key Contributions: Complete validation testing of MSI RF kits/tanapas.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Background in RF circuit design and wireless communication theory.

Knowledgeable in PLL, VCO, and Receiver designs.

Knowledgeable in RF Power Amplifier designs.

Sound analytic skills and able to troubleshoot circuits quickly.

Familiarity with RF test equipment (Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, etc.)

Works autonomously but able to work effectively with other engineering disciplines.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent design projects.

Summarizes complex technical concepts clearly.

Good writing and communication skills.

Work Environment: Lab office

Lifting Requirements: Yes, 20-25 lbs max.

Safety Equipment: Lab safety glasses, to be provided.
