Description:

Allied Control Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Instrumentation and Controls Field Service Technician. Positions are available in the PA/NJ/NY/DE areas. We are an integrator of automated systems for industrial control and SCADA applications. This position is field based and requires travel throughout the PA/NJ/NY/DE areas to provide calibration, startup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide variety process instrumentation and control equipment. Company vehicle and travel compensation are provided, overnight travel approximately 10-20%.

Requirements:

· Valid Driver’s license and High School Diploma.

· Completion of AAS in Technical Curriculum or Technical Trade School desired.

· 5+ years’ experience with process instrumentation and controls.

· Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete projects safely and efficiently, and with a high degree of accuracy

· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders and lift over 50 lbs.

· Proficient with windows PC and Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications

· Knowledge of process instrumentation, including flow, analytical instruments, temperature, pressure and level from a variety of manufacturers such as Siemens, Hach, Rosemount, Endress & Hauser, Honeywell, Foxboro, Siemens, ABB, etc.

· Experience with calibration and test equipment, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of process control equipment.

· Strong understanding of wiring schematics and field instrumentation wiring

· Customer service skills with attention to detail and professional behavior

· Understanding of PLC and HMI equipment desired but not required. We will train the right candidate on this equipment.
