Job Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Fact Checking Analysts to evaluate the accuracy of information and claims against available evidence. In this role, you will apply strong research skills, analytical thinking, and sound judgment to determine the most accurate conclusion based on available information.
An ideal candidate for this role is naturally curious, methodical, and comfortable investigating complex or ambiguous claims. They can efficiently identify trustworthy sources, assess evidence quality, and make defensible factuality judgments. They are particularly skilled at evaluating local and location-based information where details may vary across sources and require careful verification. Your work will directly contribute to improving the accuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness of AI generated information.

Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate the ability to determine the most authoritative source when multiple sources provide conflicting information and clearly justify evidence-based decisions.

Required Qualification
  • Educational background or equivalent experience in Journalism, Research, Editorial, Communications, Content Analysis, Public Policy, Law, Information Scientist, or a related field.
  • Strong written English comprehension and communication skills.
  • Strong online research and information verification skills.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, reasoning, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable making evidence-based decisions when information is incomplete, ambiguous, or contradictory.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently apply detailed project guidelines.
  • Proficiency with web research tools, search engines, and online information sources.
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to clearly explain findings and decision rationale.
