Job Overview:
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SQL Server databases and data solutions.
  • Develop and support SSIS packages for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
  • Create, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent Jobs.
  • Build and maintain ETL solutions using BIDS/SSDT.
  • Write and optimize complex T SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
  • Diagnose and resolve data issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. Microsoft Fabric
  • Ensure that data is secure and meets all regulatory compliance standards, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption in Azure environments.
  • Develop and configure monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively enhance performance and optimize data systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing.
  • Produce clear, concise technical documentation for all developed solutions
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in SSIS package development and deployment.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server Agent Jobs, scheduling, alerts, and monitoring.
  • Experience in using BIDS / SSDT for ETL and database development.
  • Advanced proficiency in T SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Understanding of relational database design, indexing strategies, and constraints.
  • Experience troubleshooting ETL failures and data inconsistencies.
  • Familiarity with source control and deployment practices for database/ETL artifacts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience or knowledge of Azure services (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, etc.)
  • Experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Experience in data modeling, data architecture, and implementing ETL/ELT solutions
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
  • Experience with data governance and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
