National Account Manager (Redistribution)

The ideal candidate has demonstrated successful selling to strategic distributors and buying groups in Foodservice Distribution and/or Food, Grocery and Retail space. The candidate will work remotely and travel to customer accounts, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Distribution, FGR and QSR Business Units and support customers' overall business.

Work closely with the National Distribution sales force to keep them informed of corporate-led initiatives to drive local support and execution.

Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within the assigned account, focusing on volume, profit, and growth.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, including the antitrust code of conduct, and uphold ethical business practices.

Drive sales growth across customers' business segments.

Work closely with internal Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Quality teams to ensure consistent product availability, on-time delivery, quality control, and the efficient management of product transitions and rollouts.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, able to identify and prioritize issues, work with the correct internal teammates and drive toward resolution.

Critical Skills & Qualifications:

BA/BS degree preferred in business, sales/marketing or related field.

Must have 5+ years of previous sales experience.

Experience in the packaging industry is highly preferred.

Travel requirement (50%) includes some overnight travel.

Demonstrated skills and attributes include initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal).

Demonstrated financial acumen around programs and pricing.

High proficiency in Business Warehouse, SAP, MS Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), TEAMS, Copilot and Smartsheet

Ability to perform independently but also work collaboratively across the organization.

Willingness to learn new skills as the role evolves.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 - $160,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
