Job description

Reefer Truck Driver – $18–$19/hr| Weekly Pay | Full-Time | Oahu

Aloha Hospitality Professionals (AlohaHP) is seeking reliable and safety-minded Reefer Truck Drivers to join our floral distribution team. This role is essential to keeping Hawaii's floral industry moving, as you'll be responsible for transporting fresh floral freight from the airport to warehouses and shops across Oahu. Position Details
  • Title: Reefer Truck Driver – Floral Division

  • Location: Oahu

  • Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience

  • Pay Schedule: Weekly pay

  • Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Sundays off)

  • Hours: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Start Date: ASAP


Responsibilities

As a Reefer Truck Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring floral products are delivered fresh, on time, and with care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Driving a refrigerated truck to pick up floral freight directly from the airport

  • Delivering shipments to warehouses, floral shops, and distribution centers around Oahu

  • Loading and unloading products safely to maintain product quality

  • Monitoring reefer unit operation and reporting any mechanical issues

  • Following proper documentation and keeping accurate delivery records

  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and team members to resolve issues quickly

  • Representing AlohaHP with professionalism and courtesy at every stop

This is a position for drivers who take pride in their work, stay on schedule, and understand the importance of delivering with aloha.


Qualifications

We're looking for dependable drivers who bring the right skills and attitude to the job:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Experience with box trucks or reefers preferred, but training is available

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks safely

  • Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • No DUIs or cellphone-related traffic violations

Bonus points if you have experience with freight handling, airport pickups, or floral distribution.
