Role Purpose
The Airport Security Agent is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of passengers, employees, aircraft, and airport facilities. This role involves screening individuals and property, monitoring access points, and enforcing security regulations in compliance with federal, state, and airport authority requirements.
What you will be doing
  • Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved security procedures and equipment
  • Control access to secure and restricted areas of the airport
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Verify identification and travel documents
  • Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
  • Conduct routine patrols of airport terminals, gates, and ramp areas
  • Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely manner
  • Enforce airport security regulations and company policies
  • Provide customer service while maintaining a high level of vigilance
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and airport authorities as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested
