Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Description: **Cannot live within 50 miles of facility. Two years of med surg experience required. Travelers must have stepdown/PCU experience as well as MS nurses will float to their PCU unit as needed! Please read: This is a MedSurg role that frequently floats to Stepdown and MS/Tele units. Must be comfortable doing both! Ratios are as follows: Stepdown 1:4-5, Medsurg 1:5-6. Please confirm that traveler is ok with floating frequently. 50 Mile radius from facility. First time travelers accepted. Facility will not accept any license or background hits. Must already be SC licensed. Unit: 5T - 22 bed adult MS Oncology unit. Contract length: 13 weeks. Possible extension: Yes. Shift dates: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed. Certs required: BCLS. Skills required: IV start.

Wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, AKI, dialysis, ETOH, liver failure, oncology, end of life care. Special Procedures/Unit Details: - Special Equipment: MS, nurses may be asked to float up to PCU type unit - please call out any PCU exp.

Qualivis workers will float in rotation with staff and in accordance with floating policies, as well as the clinical experiences of the worker being asked to float. Policies on floating comply with current standards of The Joint Commission, including the provision of an appropriate orientation to the new unit. References: Not required with submission, will be required during compliance. Return Staff Policy: Must be gone 1 year and must have been in good standing at time of departure. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 8 hours. Modules are completed pre-start, any modules not completed pre-start may be completed during orientation. Module hours are factored in NBO. Modules are self-reported.
