Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents. 


The Operations Staff perform the setup and changeover of the arena on an event-to-event basis in order to ensure complete adherence to the event schedule as well as tenant contractual specifications and requirements. Also, the role assists with cleaning of the arena to help maintain the cleanliness of the building. Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain, and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Overnight hours can be expected on occasion.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00

The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located downtown and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the greater Tulsa region. Offering a 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square feet designed to accommodate concerts, family shows, and other special events, it has been named on multiple occasions one of the country's best venues.


  • Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events.
  • Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
  • Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include, but are not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to the proper disposal area, and replenishing supplies. 
  • Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing, and waxing.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tile, replacing filters, etc.
  • Assist building engineers and subcontractors in construction, repair, and maintenance of the building.
  • Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns, or loss of property promptly to the supervisor.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Exhibit willingness to work a flexible schedule consisting of nights and weekends. Shifts regularly occur overnight.
  • Work effectively in a heavily team-based environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Be reliable, honest, dependable, and punctual.
  • Regularly lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Possess knowledge of basic hand tools and their uses.
