Job description

Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Location: Oregon Sleep Associates – Portland, OR

Schedule: Fulltime | Overnight Shift

Oregon Sleep Associates is a premier provider of comprehensive sleep medicine services in the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is to improve lives through expert diagnosis, compassionate care, and innovative treatment of sleep disorders. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our collaborative and patient-focused team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and conduct sleep studies using specialized monitoring equipment.
  • Score and analyze sleep data to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy during titration studies.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain precise documentation by clinical standards.
  • Educate patients on PAP therapy and equipment use.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with monitoring and PAP devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • RPSGT certification and formal clinical training.
  • Proficiency in sleep study setup, scoring, and PAP therapy.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent patient care and communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and technical troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting pediatric sleep studies.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and digital clinical workflows.
  • Leadership experience or background in training new staff.
  • Understanding of insurance processes and pre-authorizations.
