Job Title: Process Technician
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Painted Post, NY
Shift: Wednesday through Sunday, 11 PM to 7 AM; additional flexibility and overtime may be required

Operates across five major segments spanning optical communications, specialty materials, display technologies, environmental technologies, and life sciences. The company's work shows up in products most people use every day, from consumer electronics to automotive to medical devices. This role sits within one of their U.S. manufacturing or engineering operations.

What You'll Do

  • Operate a CT scanner in support of development and manufacturing activities
  • Perform automated and manual interpretation of images and communicate findings to data requestors
  • Drive analyses independently, ask thoughtful questions, and propose next steps
  • Provide logistical support for the work queue, including coordinating schedules as needed
  • Set up and run measurement equipment independently after training
  • Collect numerical data accurately and maintain records
  • Work closely with an engineering team in a manufacturing plant environment
  • Follow all safety regulations and use required PPE and ergonomic equipment

What We Need From You

  • Associate degree or higher, ideally in a STEM, engineering technology, manufacturing, IT, or math related field
  • Comfortable working independently, managing time, and completing detailed work accurately with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Available to work a Wednesday through Sunday, 11 PM to 7 AM overnight shift, with some flexibility for overtime
  • Reliable transportation to and from the plant

Preferred / Bonus

  • Prior experience in CT scanning, non destructive testing, or a similar inspection or measurement discipline
  • Background in a manufacturing plant or engineering support environment
  • Comfortable proactively identifying and flagging potential issues in the data
