Job description

Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN)
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one clinical care for a pediatric patient in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric seizure management.
Clinical Requirements & Responsibilities
  • Seizure Management: Monitoring and intervention for epilepsy; proven pediatric seizure experience is required.
  • G-Tube Care: Administration of scheduled feedings and medications via Gastrostomy tube.
  • Ostomy Care: Routine management and maintenance of an ostomy bag.
  • Assessment: Continuous monitoring of respiratory and neurological status
Shift Times
  • 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Monday
  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM- Wednesday
  • 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM- Wednesday & Sunday
  • 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM- Thursday
Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
  • Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
  • Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
  • Communicate with families and care teams
  • Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
Schedule & Pay
  • Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available
  • Day, night, and weekend shifts
  • Weekly pay + optional daily pay

Qualifications
  • Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
  • Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
  • Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
