Overnight QA Sanitation Technician

Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Quality Assurance department to assure all food quality systems are in place.
As a member of the Quality Assurance Team, drive ongoing quality system compliance and continuous improvement in the facility.
Work with the Sanitation supervisor ensuring all equipment is cleaned as per our procedures.
Perform inspection and test all equipment and areas to ensure that they have been cleaned properly followed by cleaning of drains.
Verify using ATP and swabs testing to ensure equipment is ready for production after cleaning.
Weekly testing, results recording and updating environmental testing logs on all testing results including drain Pathogen program.
Identify and record any problems during the Sanitation shift in all areas of the facility reporting to the QA supervisor areas that need attention.
Support the QA supervisor in training new and existing employees.
Daily inspections of freezers and refrigerators to ensure sanitation.
Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor facility personnel to ensure compliance with all appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices as well as Standard Operating Procedures.
Work in accordance with the applicable SQF/HACCP.
Works closely with sanitation personnel to assure all required parameters are maintained.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Must be detail oriented and possess basic computer skills.
Ability to work flexible hours (on rotating schedule with team, at times.)
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and on weekends.
Experience in the Food industry
Bilingual (preferably English/Spanish)
