You will play a vital role on the multidisciplinary treatment team, supporting patients through assessment, medication management, and ongoing clinical care.

As part of the Altior network, you'll find the stability of an established organization with the heart of a close-knit treatment community where every role matters. The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care within a residential mental health setting, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while ensuring clinical excellence, safety, and continuity of care.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs as needed throughout their stay in the residential facility.
  • Plan and deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions related to medications and psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Conduct pre-admission triage and assess clinical appropriateness for admission as patients begin their treatment journey.
  • Administer medications in accordance with organizational policies, best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Document nursing goals, interventions, and clinical outcomes in the patient's medical record while actively participating in treatment planning.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to infection-control protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled-substance regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications

  • Previous experience in behavioral health or mental health settings.
  • Experience working in residential or inpatient clinical environments preferred.
  • Strong passion for mental and behavioral healthcare.
  • Experience working with adolescents and/or young adults in youth-focused treatment settings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and clinical judgment skills.
