Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report detailing its condition.
  • Verify the bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries.
  • Participate in 3rd shift dispatch.
  • Operate the tractor-trailer to its destination, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills.
  • Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
  • Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
  • Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Meet our organization’s MVR and risk rating standards.
  • This role requires proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to effectively perform job-related tasks. This includes comprehending work instructions, safety protocols, and essential communications, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
