What is an overnight loader?

An Overnight Loader is responsible for loading and organizing goods, products, or shipments onto trucks, shelves, or pallets during nighttime hours. Their main tasks include lifting and moving heavy items, scanning inventory, and ensuring that all products are correctly placed for delivery or stocking. This role often requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. To thrive as an Overnight Loader, you need physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety protocols, often with a high school diploma or equivalent. Work is highly structured to maximize efficiency and safety, often requiring close coordination with other loaders, supervisors, and sometimes drivers.
