Working collaboratively with providers and the cosmetic services team, you will perform skincare treatments, educate patients on treatment options and skincare regimens, and help create an exceptional patient experience.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about skincare, enjoys building lasting relationships with patients, and is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality aesthetic care in a professional medical setting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform professional aesthetic treatments in accordance with licensure, training, and organizational protocols.
  • Conduct skin assessments and educate patients on treatment options, skincare products, and recommended home care routines.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient education, and follow-up recommendations within the electronic medical record.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns or treatment recommendations with providers as appropriate.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and infection prevention standards for treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and supporting continuity of care.
  • Maintain inventory of skincare products and treatment supplies.
  • Stay current on aesthetic trends, products, and treatment techniques through continuing education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support aesthetic services operations.

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois Aesthetician license required.
  • Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic practice preferred.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and educate patients on treatment options.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Benefits

  • $5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.
  • Immediate 401(k) match.

  • A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.
  • Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.77 - $26.66 per hour with actual pay determined by experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses, commissions, and other incentives where applicable. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
