Position:

As an Apparel Quality Control Inspector, you will be an essential part of the quality control and product development teams. You will become an expert in how to inspect apparel products, which includes taking precise and repeatable measurements, checking for defects in production and materials, and confirming that product meets desired specifications. In our busy environment, it is a “must” to be an organized and flexible multi-tasker as we work efficiently to meet the needs of our customers and internal team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control inspections on our apparel product line
    • Take and record measurements
    • Inspect garments for sewing or fabric defects
    • Check apparel products against technical specification packets
    • Perform color evaluations
    • Communicate issues to supervisor so follow-up inspections can be organized
    • Separate defective garments and classify them for rework if possible
  • Pre-production inspections
    • Check measurements
    • Communicate results to product management team
  • Address non-conforming product that can be fixed
    • Wash dirty or stained product to get it back into stock
    • Assign work to applicable re-work team
  • Provide support on projects related to apparel quality control as needed
Qualifications:
