Automotive Service Technician / Auto MechanicAll Experience Levels Welcome


Kunes Auto Group is hiring Automotive Service Technicians, Auto Mechanics, Diagnostic Technicians, and Dealership Technicians at all experience levels - from entry-level to master tech.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, belts, hoses, tires, and other key systems
  • Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Maintain accurate, detailed repair records and communicate recommendations to service management
  • Deliver high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer and dealership standards

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • All experience levels welcome - from entry-level technicians to seasoned pros
  • Entry-level: high school diploma/GED or automotive technical school training (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Experienced: 2+ years of automotive repair or technician experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills (or willingness to learn)
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership service department
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE Certifications (one or more)
  • GM / General Motors brand experience
  • Previous dealership service department experience
  • Advanced diagnostic and electrical repair expertise
