This position offices in-person, on campus

 ROLE SUMMARY

An Academic Tutor at Valor Christian High School supports students’ academic and spiritual growth by identifying learning gaps, delivering individualized and differentiated instruction, and using engaging strategies that build critical thinking, communication, collaboration and innovation. Tutors provide a respectful, nurturing environment that meets students’ intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs while building trusting one-on-one relationships. They communicate effectively with teachers, parents and other constituents to champion student success, all while seamlessly weaving Biblical truth and Christian values into instruction, guiding students to grow academically and spiritually as future leaders who transform the world for Christ.
