Job Summary - The Network Reimbursement Analyst creates claims and reimbursement related analytics for fee-for-service and value-based contracting and takes ownership over at least one setting's reimbursement program, including inpatient, outpatient, surgery center or professional changes annually. The incumbent provides shared savings and bundled payment analyses on total cost of care trends and prepares reporting and dashboards internally and for Network Providers. The incumbent contributes to team research, analysis, and testing efforts.

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • A degree in an analytic discipline, such as Health Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Engineering, Accounting, Science, or other discipline with a strong emphasis on data analysis and/or statistical methods.
  • Experience (professional or academic) in areas such as data collection (to include by means of an experiment), interruption and analysis; empirical research; statistical analysis; or healthcare informatics, including presentation of findings in a formal written report.
  • Experience with statistical software packages for analyzing large relational datasets (e.g. SAS, SPSS) preferred but not required
  • Clinical and/or Industry knowledge preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by prior experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
