Job Description
Position: Driver/System Operator (DSO)
Reports To: Site Manager
FLSA: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Location: Yuma, Arizona
Position Summary:
The Driver/System Operator (DSO) shall be qualified to perform fuel servicing operations (refuel/defuel operations) by mobile fuel servicing equipment/trucks. Operators shall be familiar with safety regulations applicable to aviation and ground fuel servicing operations on and around the airfield and supported activities and shall demonstrate a practical knowledge of and ability to inspection and maintain fuel servicing equipment and systems. DSO shall be required to make basic input to the BSM-E system or maintain dispatch logs. All DSOs shall be licensed in accordance with the vehicle operating laws, regulations, and code of the state in which they will operate equipment and shall be/remain in compliance with all such requirements for the duration of their employment under this contract.
All drivers shall be licensed in accordance with the vehicle operating laws, regulations, and code for the state of Arizona and shall possess a current/valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate HAZMAT and tank truck endorsements for the state of Arizona. They shall be/remain in compliance with all such requirements for the duration of their employment under this contract.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with HAZMAT and tank truck endorsements. Must provide a DMV record with 5 years worth of driving experience.
Must possess a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certification card.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Government Background Investigation. All employees must possess a favorable National Agency Check with Credit Check and Inquiries (NACLC) to remain on contract.
