Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oilfield Manager to lead frac field operations within an assigned region. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading field personnel, ensuring DOT and OSHA compliance, maintaining equipment readiness, and delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee all frac field operations within the assigned region.
  • Coordinate job site logistics, including equipment placement and site readiness.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop frac field employees while managing performance and progressive discipline.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain qualified team members.
  • Build strong customer relationships by serving as the primary on-site point of contact and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Provide ongoing training on operational procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular field audits to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead routine safety meetings and promote a strong safety-first culture.
  • Review and approve employee timesheets.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance, inspections, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of crews, equipment, and job-related activities.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and positive team culture.
  • Demonstrate financial responsibility by following company travel and expense policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with corporate leadership and field teams to ensure operational alignment.

Qualifications

  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in frac or fuel operations management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and other pre-employment screenings.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel overnight as business needs required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
