Job description

Grasslands Club is looking for polished, personable Fine Dining Hosts to welcome our members into a fine dining atmosphere unlike anything else in the Nashville area. We have three openings — one full-time and two part-time — for experienced hospitality professionals who understand that exceptional service starts the moment a guest walks through the door.

As the face of our fine dining club restaurant, you'll set the tone for an elevated member experience, and you'll do it as part of a club that genuinely invests in your growth — whether that means moving into elevated positions down the line, or building the kind of fine dining resume that opens doors anywhere.

Located northeast of Nashville in the fast-growing city of Gallatin, Tennessee, Grasslands Club is a fully private golf and country club set on a beautiful lakefront property. Members enjoy two clubhouses with multiple private dining outlets, a full-service event center, two lakeside pools, Bill Bergin-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, a 9-hole short course, a five-bay teaching facility, two fitness centers, and a year-round racquet sports complex. Our dining program is central to the member experience, and we hold it to a fine dining standard — polished service, refined presentation, and genuine hospitality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Fine Dining Hostess/Host, you'll be the first and last touchpoint of every member's dining experience. You'll greet members and their guests by name whenever possible, manage reservations and seating with a fine dining level of care, and keep the dining room running seamlessly during service. You'll coordinate closely with servers and management to anticipate members' needs before they have to ask — that's the standard here. Shifts include a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays, aligned with peak club activity, so flexibility is important. In return, you'll be trained and mentored by an experienced front-of-house team, with a clear path to grow your skills and take on more responsibility over time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for candidates with prior experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or private club hospitality who understand what elevated service looks and feels like. If you are interested in more than just a job, we can certainly set you on the path for a career. You should have polished, professional communication skills, a genuinely warm and welcoming presence, and the composure to stay organized under pressure — managing reservations, seating charts, and shifting priorities without missing a beat. A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, member-first mindset are essential, as is the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

WHY JOIN GRASSLANDS CLUB

  • Opportunities for career advancement — many of our front-of-house leaders started in entry roles
  • Ongoing training and mentorship from experienced fine dining professionals
  • Flexible scheduling across full-time and part-time roles
  • Employee discounts on food and beverage
  • Full-time employees are eligible for Health insurance benefits, Paid time off and Matching 401(k) as well as other ancillary benefits
  • Work in one of the most beautiful private club settings near Nashville, with parking on-site, no need to commute to downtown and no super late evenings

READY TO ELEVATE YOUR CAREER?

If you take pride in fine dining service and want to grow with a club that's investing in its people and its future, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today.
