We’re expanding our Data Analytics teaching team to support our growing student community. Led by Dr. Robert Alvarez, this course helps students not only understand what data analytics is—but why it matters and how to apply it.

You’ll join a collaborative, high-energy team of instructors and advisors who are deeply committed to student outcomes. Instructors facilitate live, online sessions we call LiveLabs—engaging, high-energy, conference-style experiences with 100–200 students.

This is a part-time, semesterly, and remote role (~5–7 hours/week).

What You’ll Do
  • Bring Data Analytics to life by incorporating real-world examples into our existing curriculum.

  • Lead one 90-minute LiveLab per week via Zoom for 100-200 students, at the same time each week for 12 weeks, using provided lesson plans and materials. Bring each session to life with clarity, enthusiasm, and a learner-first mindset.

  • Partner with a dynamic teaching team—including Team Leads—to ensure students are learning, growing, and feeling supported.

  • Help students build confidence in their data skills while connecting learning to real-world career outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enthusiasm for supporting students, especially those with non-technical majors learning data for the first time.

  • Experience or comfort teaching with tools like Tableau, Excel, and SQL, AI and covering exploratory data analysis and visualizations.

  • Excellent communication and presence in a live, online classroom—especially with large groups.

  • Education or experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  Compensation & Perks

  • $4,000 per semester, with performance-based raises for future terms

  • Additional bonus opportunities tied to student outcomes and feedback

  • Flexible, remote work (~5–7 hours/week)

  • Opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, mission-driven team

  • Join a global, collaborative instructor community making a tangible impact on students’ lives
