Job description

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician for their 3rd shift (6 p.m. - 6 a.m.) to support the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and facility operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Complete equipment changeovers, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and communicate repair needs, spare parts requirements, and maintenance activities through proper documentation.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, quality audits, corrective action teams, and production operations as needed to maximize productivity and product quality.
* Maintain compliance with all safety, food safety, GMP, quality, and regulatory standards while following company policies and procedures in a safety-sensitive manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, with the ability to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment efficiently.
* Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems; experience with PLCs, electrical systems, machine vision/camera setups, or heat-sealing equipment is a plus.
* Comfortable working a 12-hour rotating overnight shift schedule and maintaining reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
